Job summary

HealthJobs4U Ltd is seeking a caring Care Assistant to join our night-time team in a residential setting. You will provide high quality, person-centred care to residents, supporting with daily needs while promoting independence, dignity and safety.

This role is 24 hours per week on a 2 x 12 hour night shift pattern, with occasional day shifts and alternate weekends. We welcome applicants who are compassionate, reliable and able to work as part of a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Care Assistant, preferably with dementia care.
• Driving is not required.
• Open to male and female applicants.

What you'll be doing:

As a Care Assistant, you will play an important role in providing high quality, person centred care to our residents. You will support residents with their daily needs, promote their independence and dignity and ensure they feel safe, comfortable, valued and respected.

You will work as part of a caring and supportive team, following individual care plans and helping residents with personal care, meals, mobility and daily activities. The role also involves building positive relationships with residents, families and colleagues, while working closely with the wider care team to ensure residents receive the best possible standard of care.

Working Hours:

Primarily, you'll be working throughout the night on a 24hours per week contract, which consists of 2 x 12 hour shifts - there is potential to pick up extra day shifts to top up your hours.

You must be available foralternate weekends.

What we are looking for:

• Experienced as a Care Assistant and ideally you would've supported residents with dementia
• Driving isn't essential
