Job summary

Hallhouse Care Home, located in Fenwick, East Ayrshire, is hiring a Care Assistant on a full-time night-shift contract. You will help residents with daily living, including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, following care plans and reporting changes to the team.

We offer 44 contracted hours per week at £13.60 per hour, PVG checks paid, pension, uniform provided and 5.6 weeks of annual leave. Training and development opportunities are provided in a supportive environment.

Located in the peaceful village of Fenwick, East Ayrshire, Hallhouse Care Home provides high-quality Residential, Nursing, and Respite care for up to 47 residents. With an impressive carehome.co.uk rating of 9.9 and Care Inspectorate grades of 5, 5, 5, 4, and 5, we are dedicated to delivering compassionate, person-centred care in a warm and welcoming environment.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.60 per hour
• Contracted to 44 hours per week
• Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview
As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.
You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.
Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
