Advinia Health Care in Annan is seeking a dedicated Night Care Assistant to provide person-centred support for residents, maintaining dignity and privacy throughout the night. Working 20:00–08:00 at our Dumfries and Galloway home, you will collaborate with the team to encourage independence, assist with personal care, and keep thorough records.

No previous experience required—comprehensive induction and training are provided, along with DBS/PVG checks, a competitive pay rate, and a supportive

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with residents and families.
• Demonstrated empathy and compassionate approach to care.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to night shift.
• Willingness to learn and follow care home policies.

Responsabilités

• Respect residents' dignity and privacy during night care.

Shift Pattern

The night shift is: 20:00 - 08:00

Your Responsibilities

• Respecting the Residents' dignity and privacy


• Providing the highest standard of person-centred support to the Residents' to be as independent as possible and encouraging them to do as much for themselves as they can.


• Working with Residents' and families to deliver person centred care.


• Supporting with all aspects of personal care; feeding, toileting, bathing.


• Maintaining thorough and up to date records on each Residents'.
