Job summary

Advinia Health Care is seeking a caring Care Assistant to deliver high quality, person-centred support to residents. You will assist with daily activities, maintain dignity, and encourage independence within a supportive team.

Training is provided, induction included, and opportunities for career progression in a friendly, inclusive environment with flexible pay options and leave entitlements.

Qualifications

• Excellent people skills with empathy and compassion.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and families.
• Willingness to undertake induction and training to fulfil the role.
• Ability to work as part of a supportive team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Respect the Residents’ dignity and privacy.
• Provide person-centred support to help Residents remain independent.
• Work with Residents and families to deliver person-centred care.
• Help with personal care: feeding, toileting, bathing.
• Maintain thorough and up-to-date records for each Resident.

The day shift is: 08:00 - 20:00

Your Responsibilities...

• Respecting the Residents’ dignity and privacy


• Providing the highest standard of person-centred support to the Residents’ to be as independent as possible and encouraging them to do as much for themselves as they can.


• Working with Residents’ and families to deliver person centered care.


• Supporting with all aspects of personal care; feeding, toileting, bathing.


• Maintaining thorough and up to date records on each Residents’.
