Job summary

Care Concern Group is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant for Rubislaw Park Care Home in Aberdeen. The role centers on delivering high-quality, person-centred care to residents, supporting dignity, independence and wellbeing on a daily basis.

You will assist with personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional support, following care plans and recognising changes to ensure safe, responsive care. Training and development are provided within a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Previous care experience is beneficial but not essential.
• SVQ Level 2 desirable or willingness to work towards.

Job description

We are an award-winning care home and nursing facility, based in Aberdeen’s West End. We deliver exceptional levels of Residential, Nursing, Dementia & Respite care for up to 86-residents.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.60 per hour
• Contracted to up to 44 hours per week
• Paid PVG pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
