Job summary

Arriva UK Bus is seeking an experienced PSV/HGV Engineer to join the Enfield workshop. You will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on buses and heavy vehicles, using diagnostic tools to identify faults, and implement repairs in line with DVSA and safety standards.

You will read technical drawings and maintain thorough records of work performed. The role requires NVQ Level 3 in PSV/Heavy Vehicle Maintenance, strong fault-finding abilities, and a good grasp of health and safety

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 PSV/Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills in a workshop/fleet environment.
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on buses, PSVs and heavy vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults using diagnostic tools.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, manuals and schematics.
