Job summary

Zanna Group in Manchester is seeking a Bakery Production Supervisor for night shift (Mon-Fri, 10pm-6am). You'll lead hands-on production, work with Production Manager, oversee cookies or donuts sections, ensure on-schedule output and quality.

The role requires pastry passion, prior supervisory experience in pastry, strong communication, cost and GP awareness, and at least two years in a similar role. The company offers competitive pay, share of service charge, training and progression, wellbeing

Qualifications

• A real passion for pastry, with creativity and flair.
• Experience leading or supervising a pastry section/team.
• Strong communication skills and organisational ability.
• Good understanding of recipe production, costing, and GP.
• At least two years experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on production lead.
• Works directly alongside the Production Manager and Assistant.
• Leads specific areas of production, such as cookies or donuts.
• Helps keep production on schedule.
• Checks quality, quantities and consistency throughout the night.
• Supports packing and preparing orders for dispatch.
• Takes charge if the Production Manager is unavailable.
