Job summary

Bvsg Ev in Warrington is seeking a Head of Pastry & Bakery to lead a busy bakery operation delivering artisan pastries for the Food Hall and outlets. Daytime hours, no nights, with generous benefits and an opportunity to shape an innovative bakery offering.

You will manage a team of eight, drive production standards, cost control and stock planning, while fostering creativity and high quality across all products.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a bakery or pastry team at a senior level.
• Excellent artisan pastry and bakery production skills.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety and health & safety.
• Experience with stock control, ordering and cost management.
• Proven ability to coach and develop a team.
• Excellent organisational and production planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Bakery & Pastry team of eight colleagues.
• Oversee daily production for the Food Hall and outlets.
• Manage food GP% and ensure efficient, profitable production.
• Complete daily and weekly ordering of ingredients and supplies.
• Carry out monthly stock audits and maintain stock control.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety and safety procedures.
• Develop innovative and on-trend bakery products, including costing.
• Coach and inspire the team to deliver exceptional quality.
