Job summary

Geary's Bakeries Ltd is seeking a Production Team Leader for the night shift (6pm–6am) at Barrow Upon Soar. Lead a multi-skilled production team and ensure bread is produced to specification while managing holidays, breaks and staffing levels.

You will ensure documentation, KPI data and pre-start checks are completed, maintain GMP standards, and drive health and safety culture across the site. A proactive leader with resilience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop your team to produce our bread.
• Ensure products meet correct specifications.
• Manage holidays, rest days, and breaks with adequate skills in your team.
• Ensure documentation including pre-start checks, technical documentation and KPI information are completed correctly and in a timely manner.
• Control staff to ensure they know their roles and responsibilities.
• Cover supervisor on holidays and breaks.
