Job summary

Glasgow Marriott Hotel is seeking a Night Auditor to warmly welcome guests, manage night-time check-ins/outs, and perform the nightly audit. You’ll handle guest communications, process transactions, and support the Front Office team to ensure seamless operations behind the scenes.

The role requires Front Office experience and Opera PMS proficiency, with a focus on accuracy, calmness under pressure, and strong interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Previous Front Office experience is essential.
• Minimum 1 year Opera PMS experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently.
• Calm under pressure with a proactive approach.
• Personal License Holder and/or First Aid trained preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm and professional welcome to guests during the night shift.
• Manage check-ins, check-outs, and room allocations.
• Handle all guest communications, including calls, messages, and requests.
• Resolve guest queries and ensure a high level of satisfaction.
• Complete the night audit process, ensuring all reports and financials are accurate.
• Review and reconcile daily transactions, highlighting any discrepancies.
• Accurately record room and Food & Beverage statistics.
• Process payments, charges, and billing queries.
• Support the Front Office team in preparing for the next day’s operations.
• Conduct routine security checks to ensure guest and property safety.
