Job summary

The Caledonian Edinburgh, part of Klarent Hospitality, is seeking a Night Auditor to oversee overnight operations at the hotel, delivering refined front desk service and maintaining security and financial controls.

You will lead guest service during night hours, manage check-ins/outs, prepare daily reports, and hand over smoothly to the morning team, with opportunities for development within the hotel group.

Qualifications

• Overnight front desk experience is preferred.
• Calm, professional and independent night work.
• Strong communication and guest-service focus.

• Deliver refined overnight guest service at the Front Desk.

• Ensure accurate night audit, reporting and financial controls.

At The Caledonian Edinburgh, luxury service continues around the clock. We are seeking a Night Auditor to oversee the overnight operation of the hotel, ensuring guests experience seamless, attentive service while maintaining accuracy, security and operational excellence throughout the night.

The Person:

• Calm, professional and confident working independently overnight

• Flexible to work night shifts and support hotel operations.

The Role:

• Deliver refined overnight guest service at the Front Desk
• Act as the lead point of contact for guests during night hours
• Ensure accurate night audit, reporting and financial controls
• Maintain hotel security and safety standards overnight
• Support a smooth handover for the morning Front of House Team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage overnight check-ins, check-outs, billing and reservations
• Complete night audit procedures and prepare daily reports
• Respond professionally to guest requests and resolve issues
• Monitor security, access and safety compliance
• Communicate effectively with Housekeeping, Maintenance & Front of House teams.
