Dalata Hotel Group Plc is seeking a reliable Night Auditor in Birmingham to oversee overnight hotel operations, perform the night audit, and manage front desk duties while delivering excellent guest service.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to work independently, and leadership to guide the Night team. Night shifts with health & safety duties are included, and various benefits are offered.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth and efficient operation of the hotel at night with high customer service.
• Oversee health & safety at night including fire walks and security checks.
• Perform Front Office duties: run night audit and check-in/out guests.
• Provide Food & Beverage service at night.
• Clean the hotel lobby and meeting room area.
• Lead the Night team to meet goals in audits and standards.
• Develop the Night team for career progression.
• Contribute to the strategic running of the hotel.
• Maintain calm under pressure and excellent communication.
• Experience in 3/4-star hotels is desirable.

Job description

We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Night Auditor to join our team, with both full-time and part-time opportunities available. You'll play an important role in ensuring the smooth running of the hotel overnight, supporting our guests, completing the night audit and financial procedures, and ensuring the hotel is safe, secure and ready for the day ahead. Your Job:

• Responsible for smooth and efficient operation of the hotel at night and to ensure the highest level of customer service.
• Responsible for overall health & safety at night, including fire walks, security checks, and any other relevant health & safety duties, e.g. first aid
• Perform Front Office duties, including running the night audit report and check-in and check-out out guests
• Food & Beverage service at night.
• Clean the hotel lobby and meeting room area.
• Lead the team to achieve goals in relation to mystery audits, customer comment index, quality evaluations and hotel standards.
• Lead and develop the Night team, making sure that they become prepared for the next step in their career.
• Contribute to the strategic running of the hotel.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Capability to remain calm and perform well under pressure.
• Experience in a 3/ 4-star hotel is desired but not essential
