Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group is seeking a night receptionist to ensure smooth operation and the highest level of guest service across the hotel at night. You will handle guest relations, safety duties, run night audit reports, supervise the night porter and support meeting-room setups, contributing to the efficient running of the hotel and a welcoming overnight experience.

Previous nights or hotel reception experience is essential; two years in customer-facing roles is preferred, with Opera knowledge

Qualifications

• Previous nights or hotel reception experience is essential.
• At least 2 years in a customer/guest-facing role.
• Good computer skills; Opera knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent organisational skills with delegation ability.
• A warm, friendly and proactive personality; team player.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth and efficient hotel operation at night and deliver high customer service.
• Handle guest relations and night-time inquiries.
• Oversee health & safety duties, including fire walks and security checks.
• Run the night audit report and assist guests with check-in/out.
• Supervise the night porter and manage night-time food & beverage service.
• Ensure meeting rooms are ready to standard and contribute to efficient hotel operations.

Your Job

• Responsible for smooth and efficient operation of the hotel at night and to ensure the highest level of customer service.
• Guest relations.
• Responsible for overall health & safety at night, including fire walks, security checks, and any other relevant health & safety duties, e.g. first aid.
• Performed front Office duties, including running the night audit report and checking and check-out guests.
• Supervising the night porter.
• Food & Beverage service at night.
• Ensuring meeting rooms are set to the correct standard.
• Contribute to the efficient running of the hotel.

What You Will Need

• Previous Nights or hotel reception experience is essential.
• At least 2 years of experience working in a customer/guest-facing position.
• Good computer skills and knowledge of Opera would be an advantage.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to oversee & delegate work to others.
• A warm, friendly and approachable personality when dealing with fellow staff and guests.
• The ability to work on their initiative, as well as being capable of working as part of a team
