Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group plc is seeking a reliable Duty Manager for night shifts to ensure smooth overnight hotel operations. You will support guests, handle night audits, and supervise a small Night team in delivering top-tier service.

The role requires strong customer service, initiative, excellent communication, and the ability to stay composed under pressure. 3/4-star hotel experience is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee smooth hotel operations at night and deliver high-quality customer service.

• Provide night-time Food & Beverage service and maintain lobby/meeting room cleanliness.
• Lead and develop the Night team to achieve targets and standards.
• Contribute to strategic running of the hotel and nightly operations.

Duty Manager - Nights

We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Duty Manager to join our Nights team, suitable for a full-time or part-timer. You’ll play an important role in ensuring the smooth running of the hotel overnight, supporting our guests, completing the night audit and financial procedures, and ensuring the hotel is safe, secure and ready for the day ahead.

Your Job:

• Responsible for smooth and efficient operation of the hotel at night and to ensure the highest level of customer service.
• Responsible for overall health & safety at night, including fire walks, security checks, and any other relevant health & safety duties, e.g. first aid
• Perform Front Office duties, including running the night audit report and check-in and check-out out guests
• Food & Beverage service at night.
• Clean the hotel lobby and meeting room area.
• Lead the team to achieve goals in relation to mystery audits, customer comment index, quality evaluations and hotel standards.
• Lead and develop the Night team, making sure that they become prepared for the next step in their career.
• Contribute to the strategic running of the hotel.

What You’ll Need:

• Excellent customer service skills.

• Experience in a 3/ 4-star hotel is desired but not essential
