Fortus Recruitment Group Limited is seeking an Electrical Area Supervisor in Welwyn Garden City. The role oversees regional electrical operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency while mentoring field engineers and maintaining client standards.

You will lead daily on-site activities, conduct audits, deliver toolbox talks, and act as a technical escalation point for complex jobs. A strong governance mindset and regulatory compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading electrical operations across multiple contracts.
• Ability to mentor field engineers and perform quality audits.
• Proven knowledge of NICEIC standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsabilités

• Act as NICEIC Qualified Supervisor (QS), reviewing test documentation and certs.
• Carry out structured quality audits, post-work inspections and safety checks.
• Champion competency frameworks, auditing engineer records and scope alignment.
• Deliver the Technical Section during Toolbox Talks with updates.
• Provide day-to-day operational management and coaching to crews.
• Coordinate resources across contracts and resolve on-site bottlenecks.
• Develop corrective action plans and support complex fault diagnosis.
• Assist with induction and ongoing training of engineers.
• Deputise for the Electrical Manager during planned absences.
• Attend site visits to investigate client complaints and resolve issues.
