Job summary

TipTopJob in Northern Ireland is seeking an Area Sales Manager/Technical Sales Engineer to drive profitable sales of process control and automation products across Northern Ireland and into ROI. You will manage an established customer base including End Users, System Integrators and OEMs, using direct sales channels and building lasting relationships.

The role is field-based, with ongoing product training and collaboration with distribution partners and the sales team.

Qualifications

• Be an excellent communicator, negotiator and presenter, passionate about building lasting client relationships with Key Accounts.
• Business to business (B2B) field sales experience in control/automation, process instrumentation, with successful sales track record.
• Ideally an engineering qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (ONC/HNC).

Responsibilities

• Field-based role covering Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland, managing existing customers and developing new business.
• Sell process automation products to End Users, Panel Builders, System Integrators and OEMs via direct sales.
• Receive ongoing product training and work with sales team and partners to maximise coverage.
