Job summary

University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust in Coventry is seeking a Band 5 Team Leader for the Temporary Staffing Services (TSS) Team on a permanent basis.

You will develop and implement new processes, maintain governance and audit standards, and work with Trust colleagues and external agencies to ensure efficient staffing across the organisation. The role also involves line management of TSS Booking Assistants and Officers, supporting performance and development.

Qualifications

• Educated to Degree level or relevant equivalent experience.
• Evidence of Continuous professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective line management to team members, including appraisals and performance management.
• Oversee sickness absence and annual leave to ensure service coverage.
• Manage day-to-day running of the team to deliver a high-quality temporary staffing service.
• Provide expert advice and guidance on the use of temporary staffing and agency resources.
