Job summary

Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust is hiring Security Officers (Band 3) to patrol hospital premises, monitor CCTV from a dedicated Control room, and control access to restricted areas. You will respond to alarms and incidents, working 4 x 12-hour shifts on a 4 on/4 off pattern, including weekends and public holidays.

Ideal candidates will have a valid SIA Door Supervisor and CCTV licence, GCSEs at grade C or above, and strong communication skills to interact with staff, patients and

Qualifications

• GCSE grade C or above in English and Maths.
• 2 years security experience in a large/diverse organisation.
• SIA licences (Door Supervisor and CCTV) required.

Responsibilities

• Patrol hospital premises and monitor CCTV from Control room.
• Control access to restricted areas and respond to alarms.
• Liaise with police and external agencies as required.
• Communicate clearly, write reports and follow NHS policies.
