Job summary

Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust is seeking motivated individuals to join Portering Services in Salisbury. This is a physically demanding role with full-time (37.5 hours) or part-time (22.75 hours) positions on a 7-day, 24-hour rota, including early, late and night shifts.

You will walk long distances, move patients and equipment, and assist with ward moves. A full UK driving licence is required for on-site vehicle duties.

Qualifications

• NHS experience
• English & Maths at C grade
• Experience of dealing with vulnerable people
• Previous customer service experience/Experience dealing with the public

Responsibilities

• Cover 24-hour rota on a 7-day basis
• Walk long distances daily and move patients/equipment
• Assist with ward moves and internal post/pharmacy deliveries
• On-site vehicle duties require a full UK driving licence
