Job summary

East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a proactive Team Administrator for Planned Care Nursing. The role spans across sites to support efficient administrative services and excellent patient care.

You will handle data entry, appointments, and telephone enquiries while collaborating with clinical colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations. Roster includes weekends and Bank Holidays with cross-site transport required.

Qualifications

• Administrative duties across multiple sites including data entry, scheduling, and patient communication.
• Provide high-quality customer service to patients, carers and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Input patient referrals into SystmOne.
• Contact patients by phone to confirm or schedule appointments.
• Manage and coordinate appointment calendars.
• Retrieve data as requested and update SystmOne as needed.
• Make outgoing calls to update patients on District Nurse visits.
• Support staff sickness phone for the service.
• Onboard for new starters (systems, uniform, equipment).
• Process requisitions via NHS Supply Chain and Integra.
