Job summary
NHS Shetland is seeking a Pharmacy Support Worker to join our team in Shetland. The PSW will work with Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacists to ensure medicines are provided safely within the hospital, vaccination centre and other NHS sites.
The role includes dispensing medicines, stock management, vaccine services, ward top-ups, and administrative tasks. Training toward the SVQ in Pharmacy Services (SCQF Level 6) is provided.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 National 5s in English, Mathematics and at least one other science subject.
Responsibilities
- Assist with dispensing medicines and stock management.
- Support vaccine service and ward top ups.
- Date checking, cleaning and administrative tasks.
