University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust is hiring a Band 2 Patient Porter in Birmingham, West Midlands. You will support clinical and non-clinical teams around the clock, moving patients and hospital resources safely across the site.

The role offers a starting salary of £25,272 per year, with NHS pension and opportunities for training and development. Visa sponsorship is available for eligible applicants.

Formación

• Ability to work safely and courteously, following Trust Policies.
• Capable of designated shifts and times as required.
• Flexible to follow planned work schedules with alterations as needed.
• Willing to wear the supplied uniform and comply with infection control policy.
• Physically able to move patients by wheelchair, bed or stretcher.
• Right to work in the UK, or eligibility for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship.

Responsabilidades

• Move patients, equipment, notes and samples around the hospital site.
• Transport patients on beds, trolleys and wheelchairs across wards and departments.
• Assist with transfers from wards, departments and helipad when required.
• Ensure safe handling of resources to support clinical and non-clinical teams.
