Job summary

Rydon is seeking a Multi-skilled Maintenance Operative to join the NHS Maintenance team based at the Bracton Centre in Dartford, Kent. You will provide reactive, planned and preventative maintenance across our NHS clients, in a live healthcare environment.

This is a full-time role with an on-call rota to increase earnings; you will use a broad range of trades, including plumbing, carpentry, plastering and general repairs, while upholding health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance, ideally NHS or contractor servicing NHS.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety and safe systems of working.
• Full UK Driving Licence required.

Responsibilities

• Perform reactive and planned maintenance tasks across NHS sites.
• Conduct general repairs including plumbing, carpentry, painting and plastering.
• Participate in on-call rota with standby and overtime when called out.
• Ensure safety protocols in a live healthcare environment.
