Job summary

Cornwall Partnership Foundation NHS Trust is seeking a reliable domestic services worker to support the Sowenna Adolescent Mental Health Inpatient team. You will perform general cleaning duties throughout the building, ensuring high standards of hygiene and safety in line with trust protocols.

Responsibilities include stock monitoring, basic catering tasks, and assisting with food preparation while adhering to food hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Clean all floor surfaces, furniture, fixtures, curtains and equipment per protocol.
• Clean crockery, utensils, kitchen surfaces and equipment to high hygiene standards.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with stock ordering as required by the supervisor.
• Carry out food and beverage preparation and regeneration in line with food hygiene standards.
• Reduce cross-contamination by using provided PPE and follow safety procedures.
• Carry keys and equipment responsibly and perform light porter duties as needed.
• Work some weekends and bank holidays with applicable enhancements.
