Job summary

Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Domestic Assistant to join our Estates & Facilities team in providing a high standard of cleaning across trust premises. You will work as part of a domestic team on a 5 over 7 shift pattern, including bank holidays and weekends.

The role requires a proactive, reliable individual with COSHH and health and safety awareness, able to work to set cleaning schedules and with good teamwork.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of COSHH, health and safety and cleaning standards.
• Ability to work to set cleaning schedules.
• Use of cleaning equipment and materials provided for the job.
• Working as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high standard of domestic service to patients, staff and visitors within Clinical/Non-Clinical areas, alone or as part of a team.
• Deliver cleaning to high activity areas with flexibility.
• Support other staff with clinical responsibility to service users.
