NHFM invites applications for a Domestic Assistant role at Seaton Delaval Factory Hub. You will join our domestic team, helping maintain high cleanliness standards across wards, departments and offices while supporting patient care.

The role offers flexible working between mornings and afternoons, NHS terms, and opportunities for development. Applicants with basic numeracy and literacy are welcomed; training provided.

Qualifications

• Basic Numerate & Literate Skills required.
• Customer Service training desirable.

Responsibilities

• Clean floors and surfaces by vacuuming, mopping and wiping.
• Undertake deep cleaning as required.
• Handle waste and disposing of domestic and clinical waste.
• Clean sanitary areas, toilets and staff changing areas.
• Damp wipe of surfaces, ledges and shelves; clean internal glass.
• Maintain high cleanliness standards across all areas.
• Participate in relevant training on hygiene and safety.
