Job summary

NHS Property Services Ltd. is seeking a Mobile Domestic Assistant to maintain clean, safe NHS environments across multiple sites. The role is mobile between sites within the Rotherham/Doncaster area on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Part-time, 20 hours per week (Mon-Fri 16:00-20:00 with mornings 6:00-9:00 flexibility). DBS check will be conducted. Own vehicle required for site travel; mileage reimbursed per policy.

Qualifications

• UK driving license and access to own vehicle for travel between sites.
• Willing to travel between NHS Property Services sites in Doncaster/Rotherham area.
• DBS check will be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning duties across multiple sites to a high standard
• Travel between allocated locations
• Support cleaning cover across sites as required by the service
• Follow health & safety and COSHH guidelines
• Work collaboratively with team members, site colleagues and Soft FM management
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and infection prevention
• Complete routine tasks and follow workplace procedures effectively
• Ensure cleaning schedules are completed accurately and consistently across all allocated locations

Job description

We're looking for a reliable Mobile Domestic Assistant to join our team, helping to maintain clean, safe and welcoming healthcare environments across a range of NHS Property Services sites.

Please note this is a fixed term contract 12 months

• £12.92 per hour, £25,272.00 per annum, pro-rata
• 20 hours per week
• Mon - Fri 1600-2000hrs/flexbility to cover mornings 6am - 9am
• Standard DBS check will be conducted
• This is a mobile role and you will be required to travel between sites
• UK full driving license required, you will need to use your own vehicle for travel between locations
• Business mileage will be paid in line with NHS Property Services policy

Key Responsibilities

This role will deliver a full cleaning service across NHS Property Services premises, in line with the Domestic Services Operative Manual, policies, procedures, and cleaning schedules.

Where you’ll be

This is a mobile role covering the following locations: Rotherham Community Health Centre, Rawmarsh Health Centre, Aston Joint Service Centre, Ridgeway Clinic, Thorpe Hesley Health Centre, Wath Health Centre, Wickersley Health Centre, Beighton Health Centre, Darton Health Centre, Ivy Lodge, Don Valley House, and Mexborough Health Centre. Regular travel across the Rotherham and Doncaster areas will be required as part of the role.
