Tameside Hospital is seeking a permanent, part-time cook to manage 21 hours per week of food production and delivery to patients, staff, and visitors. The role emphasises high food quality and strict adherence to standard recipes and methods.

You should understand cook-chill/cook-freeze procedures, maintain stock control, ensure hygienic premises and equipment, and support training and relationships with staff and external agencies. Note: visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Qualificações

• Knowledge and experience of food production and service systems.
• Understanding of cook chill/cook freeze procedures.
• Knowledge of food safety legislation and health and safety implications of food services.
• Experience in managing stock and reducing wastage.

Responsabilidades

• Professionally responsible for all aspects of food production and delivery to the Trust's patients, staff and visitors.
• Adhere to standard recipes and methods to maintain consistency and quality.
• Maintain hygiene and safety of premises and equipment.
• Assist management with training and support staff relationships and external agencies.
