Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Capital Accountant to join the Financial Accounts team in Harrogate. This developmental Band 6/7 role offers progression to Band 7 as you meet professional and capability requirements, providing specialist capital accounting support for the Trust's capital programme.

You will coordinate capital expenditure, maintain the fixed asset register, and contribute to month-end and year-end reporting, ensuring NHS accounting compliance and robust

Qualifikationen

• Capital accounting knowledge and NHS accounting requirements.
• Experience with fixed assets registers and depreciation would be advantageous.

• Coordinate and monitor the Trust's capital programme, including expenditure and forecasts.
• Maintain the fixed asset register with additions, disposals, depreciation and revaluations.
• Lead or support month-end and year-end capital accounting processes as appropriate.
• Provide specialist capital accounting advice to budget holders and project managers.
• Develop capital accounting processes, controls and reporting tools.
