London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust seeks a Service Co-ordinator to support the National Bowel Cancer Screening Programme at St Mark's Bowel Cancer Screening Centre. You will coordinate referrals, appointments, clinics and follow-ups, ensuring timely, safe and high-quality care.

The role requires an experienced administrator with NHS systems experience, strong IT skills, and the ability to work independently within procedures. DBS enhanced check is required.

Formación

• Educated to NVQ Level 4 in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
• IT qualification or demonstrable advanced IT skills (e.g. Microsoft Office, patient systems, ECDL)
• Customer care or communication skills training
• Evidence of ongoing professional development.
• Training in NHS systems (e.g. BCSS or equivalent patient administration systems).
• Leadership Certificate
• Medical terminology or equivalent

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate patient pathways including referrals, appointments, clinics, and follow-up.
• Liaise with Specialist Screening Practitioners, endoscopy services, and NHS Bowel Cancer Screening Hub.
• Maintain accurate and timely data across local and national systems.
• Support audit and quality assurance processes.
• Ensure compliance with national screening standards and waiting times.
