Job summary

East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Programme Manager to coordinate the operational function for the Bowel Cancer Screening pathways. The role includes line management of a Supervisor who oversees five administrators across multiple sites and a Quality Manager, with a focus on best practice and consistent operations.

You will monitor and validate information required for the BCSP National Office, produce audits, and manage demand and capacity for the screening

Qualifications

• Experience managing administrative teams across multiple sites.
• Ability to monitor and validate information for national office and produce audits.
• Strategic planning for screening programmes and capacity development.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate diagnostic and screening pathways for patients.
• Line manage Supervisor and support 5 administrators across sites; oversee Quality Manager.
• Lead quality assurance activities and data modelling for BCSP; ensure QA action plans are followed.
• Prepare business cases and financial plans to support East Kent screening centre.
• Represent the programme in national/regional meetings and liaise with commissioners.
