Job summary

Practice Plus Group's NHS 111 contact centre in the UK is recruiting trainee Health Advisors. You will take calls from patients and healthcare professionals, triage using NHS Pathways, and direct people to the right care, including arranging 999 when needed.

The role is on-site only with varied shifts of 24 to 37.5 hours per week and paid training to complete. Training starts soon and you will pass assessments and call audits to continue in the role.

Qualifications

• GCSE or Functional Skills in English and Maths or equivalent.
• Ability to remain calm and professional when handling distressed callers.
• Strong written and verbal communication with accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Take calls from patients and professionals with urgent and non-urgent needs.
• Triages and prioritises calls by urgency using NHS Pathways.
• Direct callers to appropriate care and advise on next steps.
• Record clear, detailed call notes and complete training assessments.
