Job summary

DHU Healthcare’s NHS 111 Dental Nurse Advisor role is based in Derby or Chesterfield, offering a part-time 30-hour week with a late rota from 14:00 to 23:00. You will assess and triage dental patients using NHS Pathways, providing safe, compassionate advice and signposting to appropriate services.

You will handle NHS 111 calls efficiently, document patient details accurately, uphold GDC standards and confidentiality, and work collaboratively with colleagues to meet service needs while supporting

Qualifications

• Experience in NHS 111 or dental nurse advisory is preferred.
• Strong communication and triage skills.
• Knowledge of GDC standards and patient confidentiality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess and triage dental patients using NHS Pathways, providing safe and appropriate advice.
• Provide clear, compassionate support and signpost patients to the right dental or healthcare services.
• Handle NHS 111 calls efficiently, accurately recording patient information and escalating concerns appropriately.
• Work safely and professionally, maintaining GDC standards, confidentiality, safeguarding and clinical governance requirements.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff development and adapt to the changing needs of the service.
