Job summary

DHU Healthcare is recruiting an NHS 111 Dental Nurse Advisor to join our Derby/Chesterfield team. You will assess and triage dental patients, providing compassionate, informed advice and signposting to the appropriate dental or healthcare services.

The role is part-time (30 hours per week) with a late rota (14:00–23:00). Training and daytime shifts are paid at £13.94 per hour, with evenings and nights at £18.12, and weekends at £20.20 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Assess and triage dental patients using NHS Pathways, providing safe and appropriate advice.
• Provide clear, compassionate support and signpost patients to the right dental or healthcare services.
• Handle NHS 111 calls efficiently, accurately recording patient information and escalating concerns appropriately.
• Work safely and professionally, maintaining GDC standards, confidentiality, safeguarding and clinical governance requirements.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff development and adapt to the changing needs of the service.

Competitive Salary: Training and daytime shifts: £13.94 per hour Evenings and night shifts: £18.12 per hour Weekend shifts: £20.20 per hour

Working Patterns: Part Time: 30 hours per week Late Rota - availability required between 14:00pm and 23:00pm
