Job summary

The Daily Mail, part of dmg media, is seeking a designer to produce visually compelling graphics for digital and print as part of our in-house creative team. You will conceptualise, develop and execute designs, collaborating with reporters and section heads to enhance our journalism and engage readers, with opportunities to design interactive and immersive stories under DEEP DIVE.

Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite, UX/UI, motion graphics, and data visualization (Excel with

Qualifications

• Experience in designing graphics and/or visual storytelling, ideally in the news publishing world.
• Strong design skills and ideally highly proficient with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Understanding of UX and UI across desktop, mobile and print adaptations.
• Understanding of motion graphics.
• Basic knowledge of front-end languages (HTML & CSS).
• Some experience of manipulating large data sets in Excel with data visualization tools.

• Produce visually compelling graphics for digital and print.
