Job summary

The Daily Mail is seeking a Senior Newsletters Editor to manage the writing, editing and production of the morning newsletter. The role runs 1pm–9pm, Mon–Thurs, with earlier hours on Fridays, and a hybrid setup with four days in the office in London.

You will write quickly with a lively tone, apply strong subbing skills, and use performance data to curate stories and inform strategy, collaborating across desks to showcase the best of our coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism or related field.
• Sharp, fast copywriting and strong subbing ability.
• Excellent editorial judgement and news sense.
• Proven ability to make quick decisions.
• Strong data literacy and ability to turn data into insights.
• Ability to interpret trends and explain findings clearly.
• Experience collaborating with desks across a newsroom.
• Creative problem-solving and willingness to experiment.
• Experience with newsletters and email best practices.
• Experience in a fast-paced digital news environment.
