PRIVATE CLIENT SOLICITOR / FEE EARNER

• NQ to 3 PQE or 1 years Private Client Fee Earning experience
• Salary circa £46,000 p.a. plus a percentage of billing
• Based in Luton - Free on-site parking
• Hybrid, 50% office, 50% home
• Full time or part time considered

They are a small, relationship-driven firm. Clients know their solicitor by name, colleagues support each other, and work is done properly rather than at scale. If you prefer meaningful client relationships over conveyor-belt volume, you will feel right at home.

The Role

You will manage a varied Private Client caseload including wills, probate, estate administration, LPAs and trusts - depending on experience. You will work closely with a friendly client‑relations team who handle file opening, billing and routine admin so your time is spent on legal work. There is an established will bank, strong referrer relationships and a steady flow of matters to build from. A genuine handover is provided. The outgoing Solicitor will remain for a short transition period to ensure you are fully supported. Over time, there is scope to help shape the department and, once you are settled, assist in recruiting and mentoring a paralegal.

• For NQs, a Private Client seat is essential

Salary and Benefits

• circa £46,000 p.a. depending on experience
• Commission structure based on billing, discussed at interview
