Job summary

JS Legal Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Private Client Solicitor to join the firm’s expanding Private Client Team. The role offers potential for part-time hours and a flexible hybrid working arrangement.

The successful candidate will handle wills, trusts, LPAs, Deputy Orders, estates and trusts administration, and tax planning, with some residential conveyancing. Strong client-facing skills and excellent organisational abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years PQE or equivalent considered
• Excellent client facing skills and ability to nurture client relationships
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Flexible, adaptable and positive attitude

Responsibilities

• Undertake fee earning work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
• Maintain and develop relationships with the firm’s clients
• Manage private client matters including wills and trusts, LPAs and Deputy Orders
• Administer estates and trusts and engage in tax and trust planning
• Occasionally assist with residential conveyancing
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Private Client Solicitor

Our client is a modern law firm that has embraced technological advances to provide streamlined and effective legal services. Our client’s ethos is centred on exceptional customer care; due to continued growth they are now recruiting for an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join their expanding Private Client Team.

Our clients Private Client Team has a wealth of experienced solicitors working with them; therefore, they are looking for a junior Private Client Solicitor to bring a new edge to the firm our client will consider candidates looking for part-time hours.

Responsibilities

• To undertake fee earning work, working both independently with minimal supervision and as a member of the team
• To maintain existing relations with the firm’s clients and assist and help develop new relationships
• Managing private client matters, with a particular focus on:
  • Preparation of Wills and trusts, advising clients regarding LPAs and Deputy Orders
  • Administration of estates and trusts
  • Tax and Trust Planning
  • Some Residential Conveyancing work
• Maintaining a high level of professionalism and ensuring client matters and information are kept confidential.

Skills & Requirements

• Ideally you will be a Minium of 2 yrs + PQE those that fall outside of this will also be considered
• Excellent client facing skills and the ability to nurture existing clients and third-party relationships, as well as the ability to help develop new business and assist in networking events
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability of building effective and trusting relations with people internally and externally to the firm.
• Proven high level organisational and time management skills with the ability to think ahead, prioritise workload, respond to and manage changing circumstances and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• A flexible, adaptable, and positive attitude to work.
