Coles Miller Solicitors LLP seeks a Newly Qualified Probate Solicitor to join our friendly Private Client team at Creekmore Office. You will work closely with the Head of Department to develop your career in probate, wills, estate administration, and powers of attorney.

The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience across grants of probate, estate administration and tax planning, with mentoring and a structured development programme to support progression within Private Client.

Qualifikationen

• Newly Qualified Solicitor.
• Experience of Private Client work gained through a training contract or previous relevant role.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• Ability to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines.
• A compassionate and professional approach when dealing with sensitive client matters.
• Enthusiastic, proactive, and keen to develop expertise in Probate and Private Client law.

Aufgaben

• Handle the full process of applying for Grants of Probate and Letters of Administration.
• Assist with the administration of estates from initial instruction through to final distribution.
• Draft, review, and amend Wills to accurately reflect clients' wishes and circumstances.
• Advise clients on Inheritance Tax planning, including lifetime gifting, trusts, and available tax reliefs.
• Prepare, submit, and register Lasting Powers of Attorney for Property & Financial Affairs and Health & Welfare.
• Provide advice on and prepare Deeds of Variation to restructure inheritance arrangements following a death.
• Liaise with executors, beneficiaries, financial institutions, HMRC, and other professional advisers.
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Deliver excellent client care and build strong client relationships.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the firm and contribute to the continued success of the Private Client department.
