Job summary

AO.com in the United Kingdom is seeking a Newly Qualified Class 1 Driver to start your HGV driving career and gain valuable experience transporting appliances to AO depots across the UK. You’ll work with an experienced transport team to build confidence from day one.

Shift Pattern: 5 on, 2 off with various 8-hour shifts. Pay starts at £17.00 per hour, rising after 3 months and again after a further 3 months, with progression as you gain experience.

Qualifications

• CPC and Digi Tachograph required.
• No more than 6 penalty points (no IN, DR or DD codes).
• Excellent level of English.
• Good knowledge of the UK road network.
• Good timekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Transport appliances and goods to AO depots across the UK.
• Support from day one with experienced drivers and the transport team.
• Adhere to shift patterns and safety standards.

We know building confidence takes time, so you'll work alongside experienced drivers and a supportive transport team who'll help you succeed from day one.

Shift Pattern: 5 on, 2 off (various 8-hour shifts available)

Pay:

• £17.00 per hour
• £17.47 per hour after 3 months
• £18.00 per hour after a further 3 months

A Few Things About You

• Current and Valid CPC and DIGI TACHO
• No more than 6 penalty points (no IN, DR Or DD Codes)
• Excellent level of English
• Good knowledge of the UK road network
• Good timekeeping
