Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd in Northampton is seeking a Newly Qualified Architect to join a leading RIBA chartered practice serving commercial and industrial sectors. The role focuses on producing detailed project information across all RIBA stages and supporting the design team on day‑to‑day tasks.

You will liaise with main contractors, attend design team meetings and site visits, and issue working drawing packs.

Qualifications

• RIBA Part 3 qualification is required.
• ARB registration is essential.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Salary: £32,000 – £37,000

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established RIBA chartered practice who provide a wide range of design services to the commercial and industrial sectors. They are on the lookout for a Newly Qualified Architect to join their team in Northampton.

Duties for the role of Newly Qualified Architect:

• Produce detailed project information for all RIBA stages
• Work alongside the design team on day-to-day project information
• Liaise with main contractors and sub-contractor teams
• Attend design team meetings and site visits
• Issue working drawing packs of information

Requirements for the role of Newly Qualified Architect:

• Successfully completed your RIBA Part 3 qualification
• ARB registered
• Relevant post Part 3 qualification experience is advantageous
• Proficiency with Revit is essential
• Experience working on commercial or industrial projects
• Excellent technical and design skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Working knowledge of UK building regulations
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Live within a commutable distance to the Northampton area
