Job summary

Malabar Resources Ltd. in Australia is seeking a motivated New to Industry Mechanical Tradesperson to join the Maxwell Underground Mine. You will develop skills with experienced tradespeople, maintain and repair mining equipment, and work safely in an underground environment to support production goals.

The role focuses on learning industry-specific skills, following safety procedures, and contributing to a productive, team-based operation with a long mine life ahead.

Qualifications

• Certificate of Proficiency (Mechanical Trade) is required or equivalent.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn are essential.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding underground environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills are expected.
• Commitment to safety, environmental regulations and shiftwork.

Responsibilities
