Job summary

Macmahon is seeking an Auto Electrician to join our maintenance team. You will diagnose, repair and service CAT, Hitachi and Liebherr fleet, ensuring OEM standards and site procedures are followed for safe and reliable operation.

This on-site role at Moranbah's Vulcan Coal Mine involves a casual roster and a competitive benefits package. You will work with experienced colleagues who value safety, teamwork and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Australian‑recognised trade
• Experience with Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME) ideally in Surface Mining
• Ability to work as part of a team and step up when needed
• Commitment to safe work practices and job quality

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics, repairs and preventative maintenance on CAT, Hitachi & Liebherr fleet
• Complete servicing to OEM standards and site procedures
• Support strong equipment availability and safe, reliable performance
• Speak‑up and contribute to our culture; everyone home safe, every swing
• Work closely with production and planning teams to schedule work

About the Role

We are looking for an Auto Electrician to join the team! You’ll carry out repairs, servicing and diagnostics on mobile plant. You’ll work alongside experienced teammates who share knowledge and support each other to get the job done safely and efficiently.

Role Details and Benefits

• Location: Vulcan Coal Mine I Located South of Moranbah
• Roster: 7:7 DIDO
• Rate: Up to $85 per hour (casual)
• Field Service Ute
