Job summary

People First Recruitment is seeking a Transfer Pricing Manager in London with strong multinational TP experience. You will support business units with TP policy, compliance, and implementation, including complex projects and audits.

Qualifications

• Strategic transfer pricing experience in a large multinational business.
• Experience in setting transfer pricing policies and managing audits.
• Experience in leading complex international tax projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic transfer pricing support to the business units, QSC and other functions, across compliance, controversy, policy and implementation.
• Manage key projects linked to TP policy and implementation that arise on an ad hoc basis, such as Advance Pricing Agreements and IP transfers.
• Test, review and sign off outputs of transfer pricing processes executed by the operational tax team and TP documentation reports.
• Lead on transfer pricing aspects of local tax audits in territories across the globe; prepare responses to tax authorities.
• Diagnose root causes of TP issues and design and implement solutions with the business.

• TomanagekeyprojectslinkedtoTPpolicyandimplementationthatariseonandhocbasis.ThesecouldincludeAdvancePricingAgreements,IPtransfers,collaboratingwithBDtosuccessfullyexecuteBDprojects,workwithOperationalTPtoimproveTPchargingprocesses,executionofintegrationsordivestments.
• Test,reviewandsignoffoutputsoftransferpricingprocessesexecutedbytheoperationaltaxteam(profitabilityreviews,intercompanyservicecharging)andtransferpricingdocumentationreports.
• Leadontransferpricingaspectsoflocaltaxauditsinterritoriesacrosstheglobe.Thiscouldincludedatagathering,writingand/orpresentingresponsestotaxauthoritiesinterritoriesacrosstheglobes.
• Todiagnoserootcausesoftransferpricingissues,anddesignandimplementsolutionsinpartnershipwiththebusiness.
• Tounderstandthesupplychain,R&Dandcommercialoperationsofthebusiness,partnerwiththebusinesstounderstandpressurepointswhensetagainstTaxandTPconstraintsandproposesolutionstoachievethebestresultsforthegroup.
