Job summary

People First Recruitment partners with a leading consumer goods group to appoint a Transfer Pricing Manager in London. The role offers hybrid working (3 days in Central London, 2 from home) on a long-term temporary contract until July 2027, with an ASAP start and a 37.5-hour week.

You will lead TP projects, review outputs, support audits, diagnose issues and work with supply chain, R&D and commercial teams to optimize TP outcomes for the group.

Qualifications

• Strategic transfer pricing experience in a large multinational.
• Experience of setting transfer pricing policies and managing audits.
• Experience leading complex international tax projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic transfer pricing support to the business units, QSC and other functions, across compliance, controversy, policy and implementation.
• Manage key projects linked to TP policy and implementation (APAs, IP transfers, BD projects, TP charging improvements, integrations or divestments).
• Test, review and sign-off outputs of TP processes and TP documentation reports.
• Lead on transfer pricing aspects of local tax audits in territories across the globe.
• Diagnose root causes of TP issues and design solutions with the business.
• Understand supply chain, R&D and commercial operations; propose TP solutions with the business.

Transfer Pricing Manager - What You'll be Doing:

To provide strategic transfer pricing support to the business units, QSC and other functions, across compliance, controversy, policy and implementation.

• To manage key projects linked to TP policy and implementation that arise on and hoc basis. These could include Advance Pricing Agreements, IP transfers, collaborating with BD to successfully execute BD projects, work with Operational TP to improve TP charging processes, execution of integrations or divestments.
• Test, review and signoff outputs of transfer pricing processes executed by the operational tax team (profitability reviews, inter company service charging) and transfer pricing documentation reports.
• Lead on transfer pricing aspects of local tax audits in territories across the globe. This could include data gathering, writing and / or presenting responses to tax authorities in territories across the globe.
• To diagnose root causes of transfer pricing issues, and design and implement solutions in partnership with the business.
• To understand the supply chain, R&D and commercial operations of the business, partner with the business to understand pressure points when set against Tax and TP constraints and propose solutions to achieve the best results for the group.
