Job Title: IT Pre-Sales Specialist
Status: Permanent
Hours: 9:00am - 5:00pm / Monday to Friday. *Office based 5 days a week
Salary: £48,000 per annum + travel expenses up to Zone 6

Global IT company is seeking an IT Pre-Sales Specialist.
Pre-Sales Specialist - Responsibilities:
- Requirements Definition and Design:
- Define customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Create high-level and detailed designs, proposals, and solution architectures.
- Provide technical consultancy and support during pre-sales and post-sales phases.
- Project Planning and Progress Tracking:
- Outline project plans, update progress, and develop recovery plans.
- Conduct revenue and profit analysis.
- Technology Trends and Product Development:
- Research emerging technology trends relevant to customer needs.
- Identify new products and contribute to product roadmaps and innovation initiatives.
- Sales and Pre-sales Management:
- Manage technology evaluation stages.
- Coordinate with suppliers for product costs and quotations.
- Expand sales and pre-sales efforts.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to clients, third parties, and suppliers.
- Participate in meetings with relevant stakeholders.
- Project Leadership and Coordination:
- Organize and lead project teams.
- Report issues, customer feedback, and new business opportunities to management.
- Travel as required to various offices.
- Documentation and Training:
- Create comprehensive project documentation.
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to engineers.
- Assist technical teams in delivering enterprise IT solutions.
- Solution Evaluation and Deployment:
- Ensure solutions are fit-for-purpose.
- Support deployment of services and complex solutions.
- Assist in investigations and redesign of network devices.
- Vendor Management and Support:
- Maintain vendor certifications and partnerships.
- Handle ad hoc requests from management.
Pre-Sales Specialist - Requirements:
- Technical Skills and Knowledge:
- Experience with network and security products like Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Zscaler, CrowdStrike, CATO, etc.
- Knowledge of emerging enterprise IT solutions such as SD-WAN, SASE, EDR/MDR, IoT.
- Experience with network and server infrastructure installation and maintenance.
- Familiarity with Windows Servers, VDI, VM, and cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
- Ability to produce high-quality technical documentation.
- Certifications and Experience:
- Valid CCNP or PMP/PRINCE2 certification with hands-on experience.
- Optional: CISSP certification.
- Customer service experience across various levels.
- Experience in solution design, troubleshooting, and evaluation.
- Additional Skills:
