Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a business, legal or related professional services firm.
• Interest in Risk and Compliance with knowledge of commercial, political and risk issues.
• Excellent computer skills and ability to switch between database interfaces and online tools.
• Aptitude for research and use of online research tools.
• Ability to evaluate multiple sources to identify key risk issues.
• Excellent written and oral communication and attention to detail.
• Capability to interpret and analyze complex datasets within regulatory and governance contexts.

Responsibilities

• Undertake conflict searches and analyse reports to identify issues and escalate as needed.
• Take ownership of new business intake matters, perform risk analysis and liaise with partners, associates and other firms.
• Ensure compliance with AML directives and SRA Code of Conduct and keep up with regulatory changes.
• Document analyses and any issues clearly for governance and review.
