Job summary

Candover Green Ltd is seeking a proactive Business Development Executive to drive new business across the UK, with a focus on the South West and a requirement for a Full UK driving licence. You will hunt for opportunities, open doors with decision makers and convert prospects into long-term relationships with high service standards.

You'll work with the Business Development Manager to build a strong sales pipeline, prepare quotations, and transition new customers to operations, while maintaining

Qualifications

• Previous experience in business development or sales.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Experience in waste management or environmental services is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through cold calling, networking, lead generation, referrals and proactive prospecting.
• Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
• Arrange and attend customer meetings across the South West.
• Develop relationships with Site Managers, Buyers, Procurement Teams and key decision makers.
• Prepare quotations and commercial proposals.
• Negotiate and convert new business opportunities.
• Work towards ambitious sales and growth targets.
• Maintain accurate sales activity through the CRM.
• Support the transition of new customers into the operational teams.
• Remain a key commercial contact for your customers.
