Are you passionate about building strong relationships and opening new doors for a business at the forefront of the EV and renewables revolution?

Here at ChargedEV, we have an exciting opportunity for an accomplished and ambitious New Business Development Manager to join our thriving team.

As a New Business Development Manager, you’ll focus solely on B2B business development; engaging directly with CEOs, MDs, FDs, and Fleet Managers to promote and sell our full suite of solutions. These include workplace EV charge points, back-office software, supplying home charge solutions directly to businesses for their employees as they transition light commercial vehicle (LCV) fleets to battery electric vehicles (BEVs), solar systems, and salary sacrifice options.

You’ll be a self-starter, proactive and motivated to deliver results, while operating within a structured team environment. Taking ownership of your pipeline, you’ll work methodically through our established sales process, collaborating with colleagues to meet monthly targets and support our broader commercial goals. From initial outreach to coordinating surveys (online, virtual, or on-site) and preparing proposals, you'll manage each opportunity with professionalism and attention to detail.

You’ll also represent ChargedEV at industry trade shows, hosting events and building relationships with key stakeholders to grow new business. While direct experience in EV charging or renewables isn’t essential, you must be confident engaging senior decision-makers and quick to learn new propositions that support businesses in electrifying their fleets and workplaces.

Salary - Up to £43,000 per annum based on experience, enhanced by a generous commission scheme earning upwards of £80,000 OTE, and a company car / car allowance.

Annual Leave - Start with 24 days, increasing to 26 days with service, plus the flexibility to buy or sell up to 5 extra days each year. Of course, you’ll have public holidays too and an extra day off to celebrate your birthday!

About You

  • You’re a high achiever and self-investor who is career centred and thrives from working to demanding goals and targets
  • You will have proven influencing and negotiation ability - you have a well-developed toolkit of lead-generation approaches and thrive putting in the hard yards researching, cold calling, prospecting, door knocking, and vehicle spotting to identify the most exciting leads.
  • You’ll be capable of working at all levels within the organisation and with a variety of different types of prospective partners
  • You will be an organised planner with structured problem solving and decision-making ability
  • You’ll have ability to write articulate and effective proposals and reports in response to customers' needs
  • You will have a strong customer focus and in depth understanding of internal and external customer relationships and business processes
  • You’ll be IT literate and familiar with G Suite products
