Job summary

Everywhen is seeking a confident New Business Insurance Advisor to generate and convert new business opportunities within the General Insurance team in Southampton. You will identify prospects, build a robust pipeline, and present tailored quotations while ensuring FCA compliance and accurate CRM records.

The role emphasizes outbound calling, relationship-building with clients and insurers, and achieving sales targets in a hybrid, full-time setting.

Qualifications

  • Cert CII qualification or willingness to work towards professional insurance qualifications.
  • Knowledge of FCA regulations and insurance compliance requirements.
  • Experience in insurance sales, telesales, or a customer-facing sales environment.
  • Proven outbound calling and lead generation experience.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Target-driven mindset with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Experience within commercial, specialist, or personal lines insurance.

Responsibilities

  • Making outbound sales calls to prospective clients using self-generated and company-provided leads.
  • Identifying and qualifying new business opportunities through networking, referrals, marketing campaigns, and lead generation activities.
  • Building and managing a strong pipeline of prospective customers.
  • Understanding clients' insurance requirements and recommending suitable solutions.
  • Preparing and presenting quotations with clear cover, terms and conditions.
  • Following up on quotations and enquiries to maximise conversion opportunities.
  • Developing strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
  • Maintaining accurate customer records using the company CRM system.
  • Working closely with insurers, underwriters, and internal teams to achieve the best outcomes for customers.
  • Meeting and exceeding sales, activity, and conversion targets.
  • Staying up to date with insurance products, market developments, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensuring all activity is conducted in line with FCA regulations and company standards.

As a New Business Insurance Advisor, you'll be responsible for proactively identifying prospects, generating leads, building relationships, and converting opportunities into profitable business.

What will you do as a New Business Insurance Advisor?

What are we looking for in our next New Business Insurance Advisor?
